Open helpHow does AfterYou work?
One partner starts a room, answers the daily question, and sends an invite. The other partner verifies their own account and answers privately. Both answers reveal only after both partners submit and the room has trial or subscription access.
Can my partner see my answer before they answer?
No. Daily answers and photo prompts are designed to stay sealed until both partners have submitted. Reveal state is stored on the server, not in local browser storage.
What if my partner never gets the invite?
The room creator can resend the invite or copy the manual invite link. If the link is expired or invalid, use the newest invite from the room.
Does typing my partner's email verify them?
No. Each partner needs their own verified account. Adding a partner email only tells AfterYou where to send the invite.
How does the 3-day trial work?
Every plan starts with a 3-day card-upfront trial. There is no charge when the trial starts. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first subscription charge.
Do weekly recaps unlock during the trial?
The daily reveal flow unlocks during the trial. Weekly recaps unlock after the subscription becomes paid.
Are photos private?
Photo prompt uploads are private to room members and stored in private Supabase Storage. They reveal only after both partners upload.
Is AfterYou therapy or counseling?
No. AfterYou is for conversation and entertainment. It is not therapy, counseling, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or crisis support.
